I am aware of Twitter, however working in an FE college Twitter has been blocked, for obvious reasons, and I have no desire to set up a Twitter account from my home compute, so I will not be participating in Thing 4.
I am looking forward to other peoples views on Twitter as I realise that for most it is a must once they get started - and I know that it is very popluar with lots of famous and influential people - however at the moment it is alas not for me!
I have only just gotten into blogging and am still trying to get to grips with it, so never say never, watch this space and who knows!

CPD23 - thing 3 - Personal branding
I have been thinking long and hard about how to brand myself, I guess that the best way to describe me is a 'travel aholic', I absolutely love visiting other countries, the culture, the food, the beaches etc. etc. and from the title of my blog you have probably gathered that I really like cruising. I think I missed my vocation - I think I should have worked in travel rather than libraries, and am often found drooling over travel guides. Thats why I have chosen a travel background and a travel name for my blog because it reflects my globtrotting fun loving personality. There is so much world to see and so little time to fit it all in, I have made a list of places that I intend to visit before I expire from this wounderful world.

Thing 1
Have now completed thing one and am ready to take on the world - no really I'm sitting here trying to think of something really cool and interesting to say and my mind is a complete blank.
Hey wait a minute are there any cruisers out there, cruising is my favourite pastime - did you know that they even have libraries on cruise ships? so you could say it's like a busman's holiday - and sometime I really get the urge to tidy the shelves and put the books in order, sad isn't it, once a librarian always a librarian.
